I liked the story, not the virtual voice. Words were skipped and it was monotone.

I cannot stand the AI readers. I don’t know why this is now a thing. The story is severely negatively impacted by the horrible reading. Please stop using it

Unpredictable, complex storyline

Really enjoyable to read! I’d love to hear it with a human narrator. Heading off to listen to more from the author: this is my second one this month.

why not just Kindle?

If books are read on Audible with virtual voice, then I might as well drop it and stay with Kindle.

I pay for Audible because the readers bring the books to life. Virtual voice doesn't.

Liked the story line.

Not very fond of virtual voice. Does not do well with necessary pauses. Ignores punctation that must be in certain places.

Understandably relevant.

Liked the virtual voice; a tale that was somewhat tall but a parable to live by - though I walk through the valley of the shadow… I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Very relevant in our world today.

Fascinating and Suspenseful

The plot was entertaining and made this a "can't put it down" book. The naration was pretty bad. Might as well have been reading a phone book....but the story line compelled me to listen to the end.

Pretty good

This was the best of the virtual voice I have listened to. The story was very good, still some problems with the narration but at least listenable to. 😁
