Whisked to his mountain-top manor under his employ for work, Canella found herself drifting easily into the loving arms of his assistant, Dove. Canella hadn't known love like hers, not even with her former lover, Treva.

But with the swirl of whispers of the recent reclaiming of the Castle of Odana on the tip of everyone's tongue, Canella doesn't know if the newly found friendships, love, and life in her manor-home can survive a war.
