Resumen del Editor

The native Coosa people lived on the land that would one day become the southeastern United States. The arrival of the white man changed their lives forever. Now Calling Crow faces the most difficult challenge to his judgment and leadership yet, as the hostile Timucua, who have allied themselves with the Spanish to get the deadly thundersticks, move north in search of more slaves and conquest. Calling Crow must decide whether joining forces with another new invader to his lands, the Englishmen, can halt the Spanish onslaught without sacrificing the freedom of his people.

WONDERFUL AND LAST EDITION OF THE SERIES

This is the third part of the Southeast Series by Paul Clayton, narrated by Kevin Arthur Harper. I've read/listened to the first two in the series previously, and absolutely loved them. This is no different. Such a precarious existence, Calling Crow continues to face many great challenges with the never-ending fighting between different groups. Everyone wants to conquer everyone, and finding peace or safety among all this is most challenging. I mean, who wants to be a slave? He's forced to make some difficult decisions.

I really enjoyed this series, and would recommend it to anyone. Well done, both writing and narration were great! :)
