In this Novella, the narrator recalls the years she and her husband lived on Lincoln Avenue, her obsession with restoring a stately old Victorian to its former glory and how they were touched by the people who had once been neighbors... and friends. As the story unfolds we see that even with the complications and differences inherent in us as individuals, we can interact in ways that influence, and often times change, perceptions of those around us.
