WHAT I NEEDED!

This book was EXACTLY what I needed today. The perfect antidote to a day that started as meh and needed lift. I could not stop laughing at some of the simple truths and scenarios the author shared. And this project is timely as we face yet another variant. I know what to stock up on this time! 😜 The author’s wit, realness and perfectly written humor makes this audiobook a delightfully tasty audiobook morsel. Cheers to the narrator as well who added to the fun.

The author of this audiobook certainly has a zany outlook on life and its possibilities, especially when life threw us all lemons and curveballs with the recent COVID-19 pandemic lockdown just a few short years ago. This amusing audiobook will get you thinking back to the time when the world shut down, and we muddled through as best we could. Oh, the cleaning frenzies (without cleanser and sanitizer shortages), toilet paper runs at the grocery store, and discovering new hobbies like baking? The author brings it all to vivid life… and makes it whimsically fun to remember. Two hundred years from now—if our descendants ever question what the 2020 pandemic was like for us—they will only have to listen to this short audiobook to be immersed in life as it was at its height!

Very truthful but entertaining. Could relate personally or through stories from others. I would recommend that all adults listen to this story.

It’s a breath of fresh air to spend some time thinking not about the bad and sad parts of covid, but to look back on some of the funny things that happened. This book made me laugh and also think back and remember some of the funny things that happened in my life during the lockdowns. Anybody else try cutting your own hair?!

Such a fun read

This is a hilarious and relatable little book about the trials and tribulations of the pandemic. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a little departure from the day to day.

Amazing and light book about life during lockdown

I can relate to about half of these true yet amusing stories about our time in lockdown. During that time I heard all kinds of stories. This book covers several that I didn't hear about as well. It proves that humans are not made to be inside all the time. If you are looking for a fun diversion or need an audiobook to put a smile on your face, then this is your book.

This was so true! The changes we've all made in the way we operate on a daily has forever changed. It's refreshing to see the humor and not take things so seriously while embracing the fact we were in a serious situation. Kudos to you!!!!

fantastic book!

this book has such a light touch to something that everyone went through... the narrator was perfect. and this book actually made me look back at all the dumb stuff that we had to do and how it funny it is now.
