Why do people move from place to place and when there is mass movements of people , what happens and how can they cope with the consequences? Thus, the purpose of this write up is to examine the concept of acculturation in respect to its definition, processes, and challenges to the immigrant’s welfare today. More also, this paper try to elucidate the holistic factors such as: social cognition, cultural dominance, social identity, social dominance, social stigmatization as they affects and influences immigrants decisions and stability in a highly secularized world. Lastly, this presentation tries to proffer some holistic solutions as practical steps in building and maintaining strong new coping dimensions for Refugees, Migrants and the Societies. We need to understanding the dynamics of the humane and safe immigration practices today since human beings are bond to move from place to place on daily, weekly , monthly and yearly bases for either temporarily or permanent bases.
