It's 1997 and Beth Parsons -- a widow whose husband was killed years earlier in a bombing at the U.S. Army Officers Club in Frankfurt, Germany -- is summoned to CIA headquarters. The supposed reason for the summons is to identify someone from when she lived in Germany.

When the man who drove her to the CIA is shot and killed, she realizes that all may not be as it seems. To protect herself she escapes from her CIA babysitters and sets off to discover the truth.
