This book will immerse you into a world of intrigue and will have you hooked from the beginning. This book intertwines real world happenings with some fictional storylines as well. This book describes what Israel deals with on a daily basis. The lead agent has an eclectic group of analysts and team members that work together. This book will have you on the edge of your seat, will have you worried, angry and laughing. You will not regret listening to this book. If you haven’t listened to their first book Operation Joktan, listen to it first. Then you will have history on the characters. It is not a necessity though, you can listen to this book without the first and still enjoy!

From the first chapter to the final moments, By Way of Deception had me hooked. Amir Tsarfati masterfully blends action, espionage, and spiritual insight into a pulse-pounding, thought-provoking story. The pacing is sharp, the plot twists kept me guessing, and the narration brought the whole thing to life. If you love thrillers with depth and purpose, this is a five-star listen all the way. Can’t wait to continue the series!

This book is more intriguing. The first seemed light hearted and more relationship oriented. I want to read them again. My heart hurts for the Jewish people because we ALL caused the death of Jesus Christ! I recommend to everyone these books but especially I urge everyone to pray for and support Israel and her people. Finally, a well written book involving faith, espionage, plot, and characters!

In this second book, the authors have hit their stride. I loved the levity in the interaction among the team. That element is almost entirely absent in all books of this genre. I laughed out loud more than once. This made the gravity in the plot all the more sobering. Also, bravo on weaving together a complex, multi-event story. And now, I must wait for the next book…
