Good start if that's what this was

The virtual voice wasn't horrible but it cut out a lot like the voice was going hoarse. The story started out OK. I liked the premise but the way it ended was like a TV movie - everything is alright at the end. how? There are too many loose ends! Is this a series?

I like the main character and all the conflicts between characters and the space fights.
