The color of skin pigment, the last name, the amount of money in a bank account, none of that mattered. All that mattered was someone needed help, and they had the skills as well as the burning desire to do so. Yes, they are only human and internally flawed and prejudiced as any other. But their true nature, their crowning glory in mortal life, is their ability to rise above those flaws and prejudices when called upon.

Excellent and astounding!
I loved the details of his story. As a civilian person we watch movies that we think are terrific, but when I heard how amazing Mike's life was, everything else paled by comparison. And to realize that his incredible wife was with him at every posting, living a life most of us only dream about was wonderful.
Mike is one of the most detailed storytellers I've ever read or heard. He doesn't miss a beat!
Thank you, Mike, for sharing your life with us and Bravo to him and all the other Agents and Officers of Government Law Enforcement for risking their lives that the rest of us might live in peace!

First hand experience
Good book about a decorated DEA agent. Not as captivating as others like “The Dark Art” or “Drug Warrior,” but worth a listen.
