As a person who has been there, I know burnout can be a monster waiting in the corner to attack. That’s why I often read books and listen to audiobooks about gaining balance in life. They give me an external perspective on my own life, helping me avoid overworking and experiencing problems later. This audiobook, in particular, is a great source of hints, tips, and techniques to prevent and recover from burnout, at least for me.

Each chapter is short enough to listen to slowly and think about what it proposes. I even played it at 0.7 speed for a more relaxing experience. I have to say, I wish I had a book like this before the burnout, it would have helped me understand what I was doing wrong and kept me from falling into that hole.

The content itself is great, teaching us how to say no when we’re at our limit, manage stress properly (which is crucial for people like me), and build a support network.
