At first I thought Asher Evans might be a serial killer with his dangerously blue eyes, a My Little Pony blanket and his insistence on getting me into his vehicle, but it turns out he’s a firefighter and a single dad with three daughters.

He’s always wanted to save people, and I’ve always wanted to be saved. It’s a match made in heaven—a platonic match. He’s my boss who’s fifteen years older than me, and I’m the nanny of his children. Romantically speaking, he’s off limits.

For the first time in my life, I have a home. A family. And I can’t let anything or anyone destroy that.

Definitely not some smoldering hot dad with a chiseled jaw, a panty-melting smile and three adorable daughters who almost instantly clawed their way into my heart.

VV better than expected, story good but could drag

The story was good with detail and believability. The relationship was a slow build without the instalove. Kids were cute. The story drags at times. Virtual Voice was a male narrator. It was a good fit. Some problems with words that can be said two ways (lead and read, for example). Dada pronounced as dah-dah was the most distracting.
