Acerca de esta escucha
Bringing Heaven Home centers around five near-death-like experiences that were part of DNA scientist Dr. Brent Satterfield’s awakening from Mormonism. His story becomes an experiential metaphor of awakening for anyone who has ever felt like a stranger waking up in the middle of the Christian western world.
Brent’s first out-of-body experience is initiated after meeting a woman who died several times from complications due to a plane crash, returning with remarkable gifts. In this experience, he has memories restored from before this life, allowing him to see that the love we experienced before is not found in the religions or institutions of this world.
His second experience is a multi-hour out-of-body experience where he encounters Jesus, his Heavenly Father, and his Heavenly Mother. He is shown the science of the transition of the world into a higher state and comes to understand that we are an integral part of creating that transition.
In his third experience, he receives a flood of memories from past lives and realizes that none of us are limited to the experiences of our body or even the soul.
Traveling to a Hindu Ashram, in his fourth experience he sees the Hindu heaven and realizes that contrary to popular teaching, all roads do not lead to the same mountain top; there are near infinite heavens in the mountain range of divinity.
His fifth experience on unity consciousness is an invitation to reclaim our sovereign connection with the divine and to experience God for ourselves free from outside voices telling us what those experiences should be.
Throughout the book, Brent’s writing style is raw and vulnerable. The voice he uses evolves with his understanding in each experience, inviting the listener to join in his journey of changing worldviews.
Bringing Heaven Home is ultimately an invitation to stop seeing heaven as an abstract concept in a mythical future, but rather as the meat of awakening in this life – to bring heaven home into our bodies.

I have now gone through this book two times. the second time has been even more enlightening than the first. It offers so much insight and hope and joy. My heart and soul expand as I learn these beautiful new ideas, thoughts, and ways of being and showing up in the world. The goodness of humanity is ever growing and becoming its own beautiful butterfly. This book is a piece that is helping us arrive there.
