Many people go through life and fail to uncover their gifting. They silence the inner voice that speaks boldly of dreams and possibilities. They react and operate out of fear, real or imagined instead of learning to be fearless. Outside influence and circumstance commands attention and slowly causes them to quiet any inner voice that speaks of passion, gifts, and purpose.

Some of these external "silencers" are familiar. It may be a parent, sibling, relative, or family friend. Their comments and actions influence your thoughts and frame your reality. They blame their own unfulfilled life on others, on human history, geography, DNA, and unseen forces. They choose to wallow in circumstance, and easily concede defeat. Other silencers may be teachers, coaches, faith-leaders, or so-called mentors that give counsel, but unchecked or measured, their advice only leads to a safe life plan - a mediocre existence rather than a life filled with bold pursuits leading to success, happiness, and a destiny fulfilled.
