Arron Tucker is a young college bound student, while Sister Dolores Benning is a new teacher assigned to work at the college he is attending. Their meeting is one that has already been planned and fully mapped out by a higher supreme being. That open highway will cast a spell that will magically transform the two souls traveling on it into eventual lovers. They have no idea that their brief encounter will seal their fates forever.

Breaking a Bad Habit is a story built around two turbulent past decades in American history, the 1960s and the 1970s. While the United States was experiencing its own reconstruction: Civil Rights, the evolution of music, television and movies, coping with over whelming personal tragedies, a war that was splitting a great nation in half, a love story came along to break all that over bearing and heavy weighing monotony. The light at the end of this tunnel came in the form of two people being mysteriously thrown together to create a fantastic love story that was meticulously built from the ground up.

Come along on that road being traveled and be witness to the birth of a simple, but blossoming romance that despite the obstacles thrown in to disrupt a new America growing up, one man and one woman find true love on the stretch of an open, winding road that will take the both of them into a paradise found.
