Acerca de esta escucha
Breaking Through Walls is a business novel about leadership, courage, teamwork and success. Joe Wilson, a regional sales manager for Phillips Software, will be fired unless he can raise his team's sales within 30 days. It seems like an impossible task. Joe has leadership and selling skills, but that may not be enough. His boss and two of his teammates are eagerly awaiting his failure.
Joe finds an unlikely mentor in the form of Tommy, who owns the hot dog stand outside Joe's office. Tommy's advice on inspiring his team may be just what Joe needs.
Will Joe succeed against nearly-impossible odds? Will the secrets going on behind his back help him or hinder him?
Go with Joe on his journey of leadership, courage and selling.
Breaking Through Walls has been hailed as a leadership novel. It has been used in weekly leadership training sessions for corrections officers in a county jail.

The One Minute Manager Does Sales
In Mike Goss's "Breaking Through Walls", you will find a parable in the spirit of "The One Minute Manager" with a generous dose of kumbaya.
If you're a supportive manager wanting (or in need of) moral reinforcement, this book will be just what the doctor ordered. For you, I give it five stars. Otherwise, this book won't change anyone's mind. For them, it's only two or three stars.
Aimed squarely at the sales function (and perhaps the CEO's office), this story is a bit over the top with some plot elements can only make you smile. Of course, that level of enthusiasm may be perfect for the intended audience. (You weren't expecting a twist ending were you?)
Regarding Mr. Goss's narration, I say: "UGH!" However, self-narration was probably the only feasible way to create an audio book, so I can't fault him for it. Nor, can I deduct anything from my overall score for his narration. Who knows? Some may even like it.
In the end, I'm glad I read it. I applaud Mr. Goss's effort and hope it's a success for him and brings success to everyone who reads it.
Overall - Four Gold Stars
