I liked everything about this book. It is everything I’ve ever needed. I have practiced and my life has changed for good. I plan on hearing it a second time until I memorize it. God bless

good book, bad narrator

never have rated a book but felt so strongly I had to. this book is very thorough and enlightening. however, the narrator's voice is super annoying and about 50% of the time she days inequity when she should be saying iniquity and it's confusing every single time

Lots of information made lots of sense when soul searching some the family stories and history will definitely read the hard copy

excellent material - AWFUL NARRATOR.. HORRIBLE NARRATOR.

wow- the material was so good! and challenging! very thankful for the information on how to pray and seek repentance for the generational sins and iniquities of my lineage

but the narrator made it painful to listen to! she was awful - her voice, the connotations, the way she "mocked", read the scripture text, etc- it was truly horrible! 🤦‍♀️🙉

A Deeper View of Sin and Consequences.

The author makes many bold and surprising statements about sin, iniquity, and the consequences passed down to others. She backs up her teaching with scripture and sheds light on topics we don’t normally hear from the pulpit. This book is very well suited for small group Bible study.

Important reflection

Very interesting material to consider. I dont know if I believe in generational curses but i do believe we are sinners that continue to influence others as we have been influenced. We need to identify and stop sinning against God and each other because sin always has negative consequences. This narration was terribly distracting. The narrator has a good voice but Sometimes it seemed the narrator was mocking the material. Please leave out personal attitudes and narrate a little more evenly,the material speaks for itself for those of us seeking it.

AGREE WITH MOST REVIEWS-VERY GOOD BOOK, VERY BAD NARRATOR

Love Marilyn and her books. She has a way of delivering her message in a very clear, understandable, detailed manner. A joy to read, her books will be ones you will go back to over and over again. So when I saw this on Audible I was so happy since lately I have been listening to more Audible books. To my horror and disappointment the narrator was so bad I have trouble going through with it. Previous reviews were not exaggerating. Narrator had a “mocking”, sometimes condescending tone and would mispronounce words. Why someone would give this to her to read is beyond me. Maybe her kind of reading skills are better suited for other books. Maybe some who listened to it as they say are able to overlook it but I would bet it bothered them too otherwise they wouldn’t have noticed it and bothered to mention it. It was painful for me every time. But please, please find someone else to read this beautiful book. The essence and meaning of this book while very enlightening and enriching in itself is lost/muddled/ruined with this narrator. I believe this book would be more popular and would connect with more people if the narrator was different. Please Audible, have a better narrator do this. For me another credit or purchase would definitely be worth it because this is such a great and helpful book from the author. Only gave 4 stars overall because of the awful narration but the book itself, if I could give 10 stars, I would.
