Perfect Mix of Whoa and Wait, Really?

I threw this on during a road trip and ended up completely hooked. It’s packed with wild facts, deep questions, and just enough mystery to keep you thinking long after. The updates for 2024 made it feel super current, which I appreciated. Some parts made me pause and replay just to wrap my head around it. Great if you love science but don’t want it to feel like a lecture. Definitely made me curious to learn more.

Big Questions, Cool Facts

I picked this up while looking for something to feed my curiosity, and it totally delivered. It’s packed with wild, fascinating stuff—from how the brain works to bizarre facts about nature and space. I ended up pausing multiple times just to Google things and dive deeper. It’s perfect if you love learning but don’t want a dry lecture. I listened during walks and felt like I was part of some mind-expanding science convo. Definitely worth a listen!

For anyone hoping to compete on Jeapardy! , this book is for you. For the rest of us mere mortals with just an insatiable curiosity, this book is so interesting, intriguing, inspiring and just mind-blowing in many ways. Elliot covers so many topics it’s impossible to say one is more compelling than another, but I have to say, what is going on with research into the brain, conceptual thought and quantum physics is, well, you just gotta listen!
