Katie Wyatt’s Clean and Wholesome novelette American Mail Order Bride Historical Western box set romance series is enjoyable for all ages.

Loved it

What a wonderful short stories series. Not a lot of fluff but enough to make me feel like I was right there with these friends. Clean sweet romances that you must add to your collection.

Fun story

These stories all Run together even though they are “separate” Books, they are not stand alone.
I’m Not exactly sure why it was made into an 8 book set, other than the “books” were each for a girl, although, not really.
Anyway, as it is, it’s very good.

The virtual voice thing stinks If you listen to the audiobook. Bow as in boyfriend was pronounced bow as in bow down. Which made it sound stupid when “Lacy’s bow looked handsome” but what the virtual Voice said “ Lacy’s ‘bow’ (as in bow to the audience) looked handsome.
Just a virtual voice gripe.

Good stories poor reading skills

The person reading constantly changed the pronunciation of important words in the story and missed some words completely

not a fan of the virtual voice at all.

I did not like the virtual voice rendition. Also, each "book" seems more like a chapter in the story not a stand alone book.

Something was missing

The virtual voice hurt the story plus it left to many openings where more story would have made it much more enjoyable

Entertaining

Fun quick read, while overall predictable plot outcome, lots of fun twists and turns getting there.

Narration

Virtual narration is not good at all. Words are often mispronounced, no inflection in the voice and very monotone. I will not listen to another book with virtual voice

Characters in a Series

I love to stay in touch with so many characters! The Christian morals are woven in perfectly!

"Virtual voice" is the pits.

These were good stories, but it was odd that they were called separate books. Worst reading EVER. Phrasing is very poor, accenting of words is terribly incorrect. There is little sensible flow from 1 word to the next. Other than the non-existent "performance", the books are average. Nothing special. The only thing that made it worth my time to read is the historical aspect of the book. It was interesting to read about that period of time in a gold mining town & the various ways that people lived.

Virtual voice ruined story

Could not get into story line because of the virtual voice. I hope this is the last VV I mistakenly buy. Wish there was a way to block all VV.
