More Bishop family love!

Such a cute story! I love that they worked together through years of sexual frustration! LOL. Very slow burn and super low on the angst. Spice level (once they finally get to it!) is a 4. These 2 are HOT AF once they finally give in! Another Bishop family love story to get you feeling all swoony!

Fun read

This series has been fun. This particular story feels a little forced to me though. I throughly enjoy the narrators!

Great Listen!

This was my first listen by Kennedy Fox. Wonderful story about a vet/single dad & his intern who is studying to be a vet. It's a slow burn but gets very steamy at the end. So worth the wait! Great narration by Tor Thom & Lia Langola (new to me narrator)

I loved that this was a slow burn romance. I don’t do a lot of age/gap books (even this is not like out there age gap) but I like this one.

Elizabeth Bishop is studying to be a vet and she needs to do her practical, so she goes to work for Dr Connor Wallace in his clinic. And even though Dr Wallace is hot and sexy he is totally abrupt and gruff with her. Always answering in one words and always seems like his mad at the world. So she focuses on her career. But Connor is hiding a different side of him, especially when she gets to see him with his daughter 😊

After his marriage ended and his ex-wife made visiting with his daughter so much drama, Connor decided that women were not worth the trouble. So when he meets Elle he is attracted to her but he keeps her at a distance as he cant see himself going through that drama again. But the more time he spends with her, the more she is breaking down his walls. But can he put his heart on the line again or will he be disappointed yet again.

I liked that Elle knew what she wanted and she went for it. I knew the from the start that poor Connor was fighting a losing battle, lol… But my heart also hurt for him and his own problems. And the narrators on this one... Well Tor Thom is my favorite 😍 and Lia was perfect for Elle... All these characters will just capture you from the start. Olivia was to adorable. I thought they would never get to the good parts. But you just have to read and see what happens 😊 ♥

Entertaining

It was good to be back on the Circle B Ranch. This time we are getting Elizabeth (Elle) Bishop and Dr. Connor Wallen’s story and it was a good addition to the series. Elle is studying to be a veterinarian and when her grandmother arranges for her to intern for Connor you just know that things are about to become complicated.
After a messy divorce, Connor has thrown himself into his work and being a single dad to his daughter, Olivia (who almost steals the book from Connor and Elle). The last thing he needs is to be attracted to his new intern but that is exactly what happens.
The narration by Lia Langola and Tor Thom was easy to listen to and they really brought the story to life for me. They expressed the emotions well, particularly the tension that exists between the characters and did justice to Elle and Connor.
You can feel the tension build as Connor does his best to ignore the attraction that he feels for Elle. Poor Elle, she has no idea why he is being such a jerk to her but she is determined to do her job, despite Connor. The progression of their relationship was entertaining to watch unfold as the story jumps in time on occasion.

Finally! Elle's story....

Grumpy, closed off Dr. Connor Wallen regrets the day he agreed to let Elizabeth Bishop intern in his veterinary clinic. But there's no saying no to Grandma Bishop. Elle is everything he wants, but thinks he can't have. She's driven, determined, smart. Elle is attracted to Connor as well, but the broody, grumpalicious vet can't say more than one word at a time to her. Little does she know that it's a defense mechanism against wanting her more than he already does. She survives vet school and working for Connor so if there was ever any doubt that Elle would succeed, it's no longer there. When everyone finds out that Connor has a daughter, they're all surprised. But no one is more surprised than Connor that his daughter Olivia is taken with Elle and vice versa. When tragedy hits one of Bishop Ranch's animals, Connor sees a different side of Elle and just what he's missing by keeping her at arm's length. Then there's the matter of the irresponsible ex-wife and little Olivia fending for herself. We all know just what kind of meddling Grandma Bishop does so Elle and Connor will get their forever after.

If there were two characters who were fated to be together, it was Connor and Elle. They balanced each other out. She's the yin to his yang. She's soft where he's hard. I'm always amazed that the authors keep the stories interesting and continue to intertwine the other characters that we've grown to know and love into the subsequent books. I feel like I'm part of this family already!

Tor Thom and Lia Langola nailed the charaters yet again! Dynamic duo for sure!

Elle and Connor!!

I loved this book. Boss/employee and single dad trope. It's about time Elle and Connor get together. The two have danced around each other for years. Elle goes to work/intern for Dr. Connor Wallen while she is still in college. It is instant chemistry from the moment they meet. Connor pushes her away and stupidly tells himself it is for her own good. Elle meets Olivia, Connors daughter and there is instant friendship. Finally, some unfortunate events force them together and push them to admit their feelings, and boy is it ever hot! They say it's a fine line between love and hate... These two fall head first into an amazing romance. Elle quickly falls in love with both Connor and Olivia. Love all the intrusive Bishop family members. The whole family is a riot. Each book in this series is better than the last. Must read series.

Everything and more!

Oh my stars, can these books get any better? Bossing The Cowboy takes you on a raw and real ride between Elle Bishop and Connor Wallen. There are so many moments that make your head spin, your heart race and absolutely swoon at the connection between these two. With Langola and Thom, you are so immersed into this story as they give it such life and emotions through their narration. It is a classic hate to love and love to hate each other as these two butt heads while Elle is finishing school and she works for him in his vet office. But I found that the sizzling undercurrent drove these two to prove to each other that they are good at what they do. But when the fall finally drops and they finally get together, my heart exploded! I lived for these two. Their banter and wit but also that chemistry! It was hot and passionate. The connection that Elle had with Olivia too was just beautiful!
This was very much one audio that I listened to in one sitting. I could not get enough. It is such a raw and intense story between Elle and Connor and I loved how much they just fit. How much Connor fought his feelings to Elle fighting not yelling at him half the time. I felt such a deeper connection to this story with Connor being a single father. I felt those same emotions he did at one point. I think that’s why I felt that this story was so real. This is an epic addition to the Circle B Ranch and I am DYING for more!

PURE PERFECTION!!!

When I read this book I was anticipating the audio at the same time....I couldn't wait to hear it and with Lia Langola and Tor Thom narrating it was bound to be great. Lia always nails the southern accent the KF characters have and I absolutely LOVED Tor with his southern accent. He is the perfect Connor.

Lia and Tor really brought life to these two characters that are stubborn as hell when it comes to admitting their feelings. This is such a great slow burn because once they make their revelations to each other about their feelings it is all steam and heat with Elle and Connor. Of course when there is years upon years upon years of pent up attraction it was bound to combust quickly.

Loved It

I absolutely loved listening to this book and the entire series so far and I can't wait to find out what happens next. Kennedy Fox, Tor Thom and Lia Langola did an amazing job bringing the characters to life
