Boot It Like Bexley is book one in a children's book series that follows Bexley on her journey in soccer and athletics. Boot It Like Bexley centers around teamwork, friendship and personal growth. Each chapter highlights Bexley's development as a first time soccer player and most importantly her as a kid. Bexley's soccer experiences, life lessons and skill building moments are very relatable to children that are embarking on a new sport, especially in soccer. Each chapter ends with a specific soccer skill review and a “Bexley Bonus”.

Bexley joins her first soccer team, the Purple Dragonflies. Coach Taylor coaches the team and is encouraging and patient. Bexley meets her new best friend Zoey, who is an experienced player with some interesting quirks. The story is told through six chapters that each come with a practical soccer skill lesson.

1. Bexley nervously attends her first practice where she learns to pass the ball and build confidence.

2. When Zoey gets fouled, she lets Bexley take the penalty kick. Chapter skill: shooting.

3. Bexley learns how to defend and how to stay positive when playing against tough opponents.

4. Zoey and Coach Taylor both help Bexley learn how to dribble. Bexley teaches Zoey how to tie her shoes.

5. When the goalkeeper gets hurt, they have to figure out who will play in goal and who will try to score the winning goal.

6. At Zoey's house, the team celebrates their season with a pool party. Coach Taylor has a message for all of the players.
