Excellent Explanation The Book and Times
Very informative with details about the book, the politics and culture at the time of its writing, and the immediate impact on Europe and into the 20th century. I was expecting a basic reading of The Prince and this set of lectures is much more.

Enlightening lecture series (contextual analysis is always key to understanding)
I have avoided reading The Prince because I assumed I would just get irritated at what I imagined to be over-simplified and immoral justifications for cruelty and evil acts for one to follow in their personal pursuit of power.
As always learn repeatedly, context is everything. Especially historical. I really enjoyed this lecture series.
