Resumen del Editor
Book II Peter, King James Bible by Scourby Bible Media.
"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." (Rev: 1-3)
Early Bible prophets wrote the Bible over centuries spanning both BC and AD. The first Bible was written in Hebrew, and many of the Chapters bear the names of the Prophets who wrote the 66 books. Moses wrote Genesis, David wrote much of Psalms, Solomon wrote the books of Solomon and Ecclesiastes, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and other prophets wrote the 66 books in the Bible.
The Hebrew Bible was then translated into Greek and finally into English. John Wycliffe first translated the entire Bible (both Old and New Testaments) into English in 13th century England. William Tyndale translated the Bible into English in 15 century England. The King James translators used the Tyndale and Wycliffe translations in the Publishing of the King James Bible in 1611, commonly referred to as “The Holy Bible”.
Alexander Scourby was the first to record the King Jams Bible on audio in the early 1950s. Since then millions have been sold the World over.
Although many have recorded the Bible over the years, no one could ever match Scourby's unparalleled and majestic reading. The combination of Alexander Scourby reading the King James Bible is an incomparable hearing experience.
The Chicago Tribune wrote that “Alexander Scourby has the greatest voice ever recorded. Below are excerpts from the Chicago Tribune article.
Chicago Tribune: Next to Scourby, Most Readers Are "just good". Sandy Bauers, Knight-Ridder Newspapers
February 22, 1990.
"The late Alexander Scourby is reputed to have been the world`s best audio-book narrator, bar none. He is heralded as having the greatest voice ever recorded".
"What made Scourby so great? People who try to describe it generally stutter through glowing adjectives and adverbs, concluding that it`s an intangible, indefinable quality. But they all agree on one thing: He was a man with a truly rare gift."
"For Listening Library`s Tim Ditlow, Scourby`s readings are ''totally believable, and I`m totally transported'' to the period of the story. He cites ''the warmth, the resonance'' of Scourby`s voice and concludes, ''If I could name exactly what it was, I`d probably diminish it. When you hear him, it goes right to your heart".
"Comparing Scourby to some of today`s best audio-book readers, Anthony Ditlow said, ''They`re all good, but they`re just good. They`re not superb.'' At the American Foundation for the Blind studios in New York City, manager Don Weightman remembers Scourby as ''one of a kind.'.
''We`re talking about an X quality here. What really came across was the fact that he was believable,'' Weightman said. ''Beautiful voices are a dime a dozen, but when you get the quality of believability, that`s something rare.'' Fellow Talking Books reader Flo Gibson, who also reads for her own audiobook company in Washington, said it was Scourby she listened to for inspiration".
''But what I like are his pregnant pauses-he uses his pauses so well. His subtle hints of dialect are superb. While most narrators try to ''act'' a book, raising and lowering their voices when the speaker changes from a man to a woman, Scourby simply changed the rhythm slightly", Gibson said. People who knew Scourby describe a man meticulous in his research and preparation. search for Scourby Chicago Tribune to read Complete article.

All Loves Excelling is John Bunyan's sermon on Ephesians 3:18-19: "That ye...may be able to comprehend with all saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge." It was first titled The Saints' Knowledge of Christ's Love, is worthy of being ranked alongside Sibbes, and deals with a much neglected subject area.

John Bunyan admitted he was one of the worst sinners to have ever lived. But after converting to Christianity, he was constantly amazed by the fact that God saved him from his wrongdoings. As a minister of the Gospel, he loved to proclaim the grace of God to sinners, and he earnestly persuaded them to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ. Published in 1688, the year of his death, The Jerusalem Sinner Saved brings together the fruit of Bunyan's thoughts on the grace of forgiveness.

Doubt as to moral and spiritual truth is distilled through a score of channels. Our seats of learning are hotbeds of agnosticism. Our literature, with rare exceptions, makes light of God and jokes about sacred things. The newspapers, the radio broadcasts, public utterances, and private conversations are steadily but surely removing the foundations of righteousness and destroying what little faith in spiritual things still remain.

Historia
Written between A.D. 413 and 426, The City of God is one of the great cornerstones in the history of Christian thought, a book which is vital to the understanding of modern Western society. Augustine originally intended it to be an apology for Christianity against the accusation that the Church was responsible for the decline of the Roman Empire, which had occurred just three years earlier. Indeed, Augustine produced a great amount of evidence to prove that paganism was responsible for this event. However, by the time the work was finished, the book had taken on a larger theme.

Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Historia
The books of the Bible were written at different times by different authors over a period of approximately 1,500 years from around 1400 BC through 90 AD. The Old Testament was written in Biblical Hebrew, excluding the books written during "the Chaldean captivity" such as Daniel and Ezra which were written in "Biblical Aramaic" during the "Chaldean captivity". Many of the books of the Old Testament bear the names of the prophets who authored them. Moses compiled the earlier parts of Genesis and directly authored the remaining portion.
