Add to the mix a group of guests in town for a murder mystery cruise. The murder mystery play is extended over three nights in various venues in town and on the pleasure craft, The Escape. The mystery participants are not what they seem; the mix of additional guests at the Inn are a bit mysterious as well. As Annie and her friends prepare for the town’s charitable Halloween party, Annie’s not-so-very-good friend Geraldine plans a competing fund raiser, one to which only the upper crust of the town are invited. While the humans go about their lives blissfully unencumbered by thoughts of crime, their companions are ever alert to the dangers around them. In the end, will the companions become the heroes?
