eztremely thorough,

very easy to understand, lots of great tips and details. covers all types of bonds Investments. gives a lot of great advice!

The practicality of this book.

Don’t let the title fool you. The only “dummies” are the ones that don’t know what is in this book.

While the reading is dry the information is gold

Almost 3 hours into this huge book and have learned so much, might need to listen to again to remember it all. The reading is unfortunately pretty dry and unexciting but not bad, well articulated at least and not a robot from what I can tell.

9 hours in and while focused in bonds this book has a ton of info on investing in general. REIT, ETF, Annuities, Mutual Funds, ect! Great book!

Great Place For Beginners!

While this book starts from zero, it is definitely not for slow thinkers. I know that sounds harsh, but the rate at which investing concepts and bond info is dumped on you can be overwhelming. That said, so much great content! I’m ready to move onto Stocks Investing For Dummies. My only complaint is that it is a mind numbing reading pace. I get to listen at X1.5 speed. (That could also probably be why my brain was constantly trying to catch up, lol.) Regardless, great listen! Just be prepared to take notes.

save your time and money and move on

I've had bad audio books before. This one scores in my top three worst. Narrator is agonizing. lots a jibber jabber but little substance. Don't say I didn't warn you.

This could have been 90% shorter and delivered better points.

Filled with unnecessary examples and unrelatable personal commentary. This could have been covered in 20 mins vs the hours committed. A disappointment.
