Bogged to Death

Penny Bowden is finally beginning to feel at home after moving to Bellamy Cove, a small beach town on the outer edge of Cape Cod. As the summer heat finally breaks and fall approaches, she and the rest of the Bellamy Cove Baking Club are eager for the town’s annual Cranberry Festival, a celebration of the local cranberry farms.

On the day of the festival, Penny thinks her biggest problem is an uncooperative pony - that is, until she discovers a body drowned in the cranberry bog. It proves to be Dave Kroller, a local cranberry farmer. To top off a terrible day, Art McAllister, the brother of one of Penny’s baking club companions, is accused of the murder.

Determined to get to the bottom of things, Penny gets to work. Her investigation won’t be stopped, even as evidence appears that makes Penny think someone may be breaking into her home. Is someone trying to intimidate Penny into dropping the case? Between wrangling stubborn horses and handsome new neighbors, Penny is determined to clear Art’s name and uncover the actual murderer - and a few town secrets along the way!
