Deconstructing Deconstructionism

Where do Christians find their greatest danger, Satan, atheists, maybe other religions? The Apostle Paul detailed his suffering in 2 Corinthians 11, and tucked away towards the end he says he faced danger from “my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, and danger from false brothers.”

The greatest danger is from those in our midst; who call themselves brothers. We live our lives constructing a reality based on our experiences and the influences of people we trust. What happens when we are told that what we believed isn't everything we thought it was? Deconstructing faith isn't anything new, but it has become more popular. The problem is that deconstructionists aren't impartial. It is a system geared toward wearing down, if not destroying your faith in Jesus. This short work identifies the strengths and weakness of deconstructionism and seeks to encourage you to remain faithful to your savior, Jesus. Do not abandon so quickly the faith you have received.
