An amazing story with an even better voice
The story is wonderfully written and grabbed my attention immediately. The man reading the story brings it to life, nuance and details finely highlighted from beginning to end. I will definitely this to it again.

great novel.
I am a big fan of this story. kept me listening for hours straight. and makes me want to look for more of the story. I rated 4 on story and performance. Only because I had a very hard time early in the book remembering all the characters. almost up until some of their moments in the narrow pass. but overall 4.5 for me and to be honest just amazing.

Short & Bloody
Think of the movie "300" only with few Knights, Squires & Pages, and even MORE Blood. The honorable Knights that stay back to support the retreat of the main army have only one advantage over the 5,000+ enemy; a "narrow pass" as their battle field. They reject wave after wave of of attacks using ingenuity, bravery and honor. I will not be a Spoiler, but read/listen for yourself to learn how they fair. Action+!
