His daughter, Marion, was concerned for his health, and constantly reminded him to consult his doctor. She did not look forward to him sitting in his favorite chair with a drink in hand for the rest of his life. She could see the dilemma with him continued his strenuous work as a private eye as well.
Siver Olafsen was not destined to sit in a chair doing nothing for the rest of his life. He still considered to pick up his former work as a police hand, with his own company.
Coincidentally he is approached for getting involved in an ugly case of blackmail and treats against a Shipping Company, run by his friend Johan Grevstad. Marion favors him to get involved, she works in the same shipping company. She is aware that her boss needs him to him to get out of the threatening situation. It may be a new start in life for him, working from home in his own pace. It will at least get him out of the favorite chair.
When starting some preliminary investigations, the investigator in him is triggered, and before long he is in the middle of a terrific investigation.
It is a hellofa journey he embark. To break up an international syndicate is not a task for amateurs.
Luckily for him, he is assisted by his former team members from the police, now working in the shipping company.
The treats are linked to a claim to pay out a substantial amount in Crypto Currency after docking of one of the ship in the fleet. The owners representative, the inspector has vanished in thin air. Suspicion is that he is in on the plot to swindle his company. Unless he is taken hostage for adding pressure to the extortion. It complicates the investigation. It develop to a hunt for international based syndicate members for digital clues, treats, blackmail, kidnapping, mistreatment, briberies, prostitution and even murders and attempted murders, on witnesses.
