Loved this story!

This was a great story! It's so nice to have an actual story that has a great plot keeps you wanting to keep listening because it keeps you interested through the whole book. Love that there's a great slow burn romance too. Just love Fred and her male vampire mate. The narrator does an awesome job. The male narrator at the end telling a portion of the males side was really cool loved his voice too. I truly recommend this audible book.

Loved It!

I really enjoyed the storyline and how it all came together. This is the first book I've read with this author and I'd happily check out more of their works.

Captivating

The story captured me from the start and I even though its a standalone I love seeing brief moments of previous characters and their personalities. Narrators did a wonderful job! The ending was a bonus for me I was thinking I wish I could see the other side and emotions and I loved seeing it. Recommend this book and series!

Another great read

Brogan Thomas has another fantastic addition to her other collection of books. Her books are addictive and love the twist n turns of the story. A new heroine that’s thrown into a new world with love of a mate and the hate of her sire. Love her books and can’t wait for more

Interesting world, a bit underdeveloped

This one has all the right ingredients for a paranormal fantasy — a sentient house, an oracle twist, and a touch of romance (though it’s very blink-and-you’ll-miss-it). Like the previous book, though, I was left wanting a bit more depth and detail.
The narration was well done and fit the tone of the story nicely. Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely listen to the next installment.

So Good, I Need More!

Oh… so… good!!! I absolutely loved this story! The romance was done so well—I just kept wanting more… and more… and, well, I didn’t get it all, so I’ll definitely be tuning in for the next book. It doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, but there’s definitely more story (and more romance) to come.

I really liked all the side characters and hope the next book dives deeper into their stories too. It works as a standalone, but I still need more from this world! The bonus chapters were a fantastic touch—especially getting to see inside the thoughts of Fred’s real love interest.

The narration by Frankie Porter started off a little iffy for me but quickly became fantastic. Overall, a five-star listen!

Bitten Vampire (Book 2) by Brogan Thomas

Mid-life FMC, vampires, shifters, wizards, fated mates, slow-burn romance, sentient house, mischievous canine sidekick.

I love this audiobook so much! Fred (Winifred) is a relatable character and her story arc is quite enjoyable! She's an underdog who rises above one bad circumstance after another. She escapes from a difficult, long-term relationship, and gets herself into some vampire trouble while Investigating her friends' murders. Once again, House is my favorite character in this series, and I love the interactions between House and the mischievous Husky in this book! Sentient artifacts are quite entertaining as well!
The hilarious wedding scene with Fred's ex was so much fun! It was unexpected and I loved it so much! "I want to be Fred when I grow up" (Chapter 17). Brilliant! I especially enjoyed her vampire's advice to her ex. So romantic!
Overall, an enjoyable read/listen complete with relatable, well-developed characters, creative world-building, action scenes, and clean, slow-burn, paranormal romance. I look forward to more in this series.

Bitten Vampire by Brogan Thomas is a wonderful urban paranormal fantasy thriller. Frankie Porter and Peter Wicks did a fantastic job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, funny, thrilling, suspenseful, exciting, and more. Bitten Vampire is the second book in The Bitten Chronicles but can be a standalone. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. highly recommended

not like the others

I FOUND THIS AUTHOR WHILE WAITING FOR NEW RELEASES FOR ANOYHER. I FELL HEAD OVER HILLS AND SHE FAST BE CAME ONE OF MY FAVORITES AND I BEGAN WAITING ON HER NEXT RELEASE AND GOT USE TO HER STRONG KICK BUT FEMALE LEADS. BUT IN THE BOOK THE FEMALE LEAD IS WHINY WITH NO BACK BONE. SO IF LIKE A STRONG FEMALE THATS WILLING TO SAFE HERSELF THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR YOU (BUT HER OTHER BOOKS ARE). IF YOU LIKE A FEMALE LEAD THAT WINES AND WANT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO SAVE HER . IT'LL BE A GOOD LISTEN.
