Tyler is on his way home to spend time with his father before he passes away from lung cancer. He has spent the past 15 years figuratively running away from home, having made a life - and billions - for himself in Birmingham, Alabama. But now that it is time to come home for a visit to Rainbow, Texas, he is feeling conflicted.
And a big reason for that is Kelsi, the high school sweetheart who broke up with him and broke his heart. Of course, she has a different perspective on just who broke whose heart back then. Needless to say, she had no intentions of ever getting back with him, but thanks to a bet from his friends, he decides to try to woo her once more.
Despite her best efforts, Kelsi ends up falling for him, only to have the bet revealed to her. Unfortunately, Tyler has truly fallen for her as well. Will she be able to get past his betrayal?

Good but bad edit on narration
Nice story but the narration has not been edited at all on the first chapters. You can hear every click, mistakes, going again on the narration that spoils the books mood. This has to be revised and done again. No need to change narration, just edit all the mistakes. Its a great sweet story that would get 5 stars if the narration was finished as it should have been.

Second chance
I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Tyler and Kelsi 's chemistry was hot, but they had alot to work out before they will start another relationship. I really liked Tyler because how he really loved his dad.

Tyler & Kelsi
Billionaire's Bet is a well-written contemporary romance. The premises for the storyline is great and entertaining. The characters are well-developed and with a fiery chemistry. Tyler can be seen as a bit of a jerk. The narration was okay. I found Kitty Benson's voice to bee too youthful for this book. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
