Coming from a family of single mothers I understand the hardships and trials as well as the joys and triumphs that come as a result. These few heartfelt words are meant to bring encouragement and help for single mothers and their families. May God continually bless you as you face each day with hope because God promises goodness and mercy to follow you each day (Psalm 23:6).
The bible does not specifically say or use the vernacular term “single mothers'' but it addresses singleness when it speaks of widows, the fatherless, and divorce. The grace and mercy of God is ever present for the single mom who is raising her children in today's society and because man is a free moral agent given the right to make choices and decisions, God will never force anyone to do anything so a person in this case the single mother must be willing and obedient to the purpose and plan of God for her and her family.
