Recording of this classic was abysmal
The music was distracting and in the middle of chapter four, the narrator shouts the f word because he tripped over his reading. I’m not sure he understood what he was reading. I wished I’d spent more on a different rendition.

Substantial changes to the text
In order, I suppose, to make this text more palatable and easier to understand substantial changes have been made to it; many not for the better, and many that were unnecessary. These not so subtle changes alter the meaning of Freud's thoughts thus providing the listener with a diluted manuscript. Not to mention that the background music is atrocious and completely unnecessary and distracting. Why does a book need a backing track anyway?
