Armageddon came to the Earth one sunny day and ruined our lives. This outcome shouldn’t have come as a surprise.

A race of god-like aliens has come to clean up our mess, judging the survivors based on moral potential. The rejects all become dust. All those considered worthy are neatly tucked away in a series of sanctuary towns where they live out a manufactured existence with no memories of their past lives or the destruction of the Earth. Each community represents a different aspect of human culture, an experiment to determine which form of society provides the best template for our future survival. Only now, something has radically changed, and our benefactors seek to obliterate all life on Earth with a second round of judgments.
