Successful Marin County, CA financier Andy Barlow is training in the cold San Francisco Bay for a competitive open water swim. Excellent investigation
I absolutely enjoyed this modern, classic mystery. The high quality storytelling grabbed my attention on page one, the narrator did a great job bringing all the characters to life, and the edge of your seat sleuthing tumbled down the rabbit hole until we finally find the last secret.

a great job
I like how involved the amateur PI gets in her sleuthing. She's so close that she's the next victim. Can she talk them out of arresting the investigator!!!??? I loved how excited the narrator gets when she's narrating an exciting part of the story. This was an entertaining enjoyable journey I recommend this trip . I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. Great narration.

Loved it
Great book, must say WOW this book is definitely one to listen to. Love the narration as the narrator does a great job. Very enjoyable book indeed. Overall 5 stars from me.

Loved the story, narrator, did not see the ending!
I love a good mystery and followed this narrator from the previous novel, "Dead Code". I don't want to give it away, but the ending will surprise you. Lots of viable red herrings and possible suspects which I enjoyed. I feel like I've really gotten to know the recurring characters through the narrator- Oona Maya, really brings these characters to life making their thoughts and feelings very engaging. I hope the author continues more in this series as I'm now quite invested in what happens to Trisha and her family.
