This is the first time that I actually began to cry from an audiobook, the tragedie of Tyrions life hit me right in the feels.

Holy shit! Dear sweet baby jesus and the like!
this entire series is riveting. It combines a interesting story with a complex emotional narrative that looks deep into the darkness that is hatred, while also exhibiting the power of love in all of its glory. But it is not a love story or a classic good and evil struggle. If anything it's a Greek tragedy. Simply put hot damn!

Aaaaaagh! The emotions!
This is a tough one...not in a hard to read way, but in a jaw dropping action whilst making you cry way.

Refreshingly dark. A nail-biter at times. Pretty sure it had my heart racing several times to the point where I thought I was having a panic attack. Props to the narrator for bringing it to life.

Possibly one of the best trilogies I've read
This has to be one of the best stories I've come across. There were so many elements to the characters that were believable and not once did the author break then away from their personalities. The ending was incredibly sad, but at the same time there's a sense of beauty to it. Definitely tugged at my heart.
