Ida Pederson was an executive at ‘Nyberg Shoreline’ when she was sent to the small Northern Irish village of Port Kriel to diffuse tensions between the company and the local community. When an unexploded bomb was identified on the seabed near Nyberg’s windfarm, Ida sent a local crew of eight men to investigate. That night, only two men returned home, barely alive and unable to speak of what had happened out at sea.

Now, corporate lawyer Michelle has driven in the torrential rain to a remote house on the Swedish Coast to question Ida, who seems determined to leave the past beneath the waves. Is it a case of corporate espionage or something altogether darker…and is the danger really over?

Good Production and Great Voice Actors but....

Did I enjoy this? "Yes", How was the overall production? "Great". How were the voice actors? "Excellent". How as the story line? "Well, it was OK but nothing really new". We have heard it before but that's fine as a lot of stories are repeats with just a little twist. How was the Sound? "And that was my issue". If I listened to this sitting on a coach through a set of nice external speakers, then it would have been great. I primary listen to all my items from Audible during my 5+ mile daily power walk wearing a set of Bose earbuds. As such it proved to be difficult to control the volume. I had to constantly adjust it for soft voices, whispers, muffled talk then for normal conversation then for loud angry talk then for yelling then for the sudden loud background chapter ending music. Guess I need to figure out a way to have the volume on my iPhone set so all the sound is balanced out at only one volume level. Just one mistake. There is a scene when a woman is running away from two adversaries. She jumped into a car, locks the door and tries to start the engine. It is a gas-powered vehicle, and you hear the starter turn over-and-over several times for about 7 or 8 seconds. But the engine does not kick in. Then you hear a man's voice state that the car will not run as he removed the Battery. If he did that then the starter would have never turned. It cannot be engaged without a battery. - LOL

Spectacular sound!

I have much appreciation for this short gem. It was like listening to a movie. The characters were narrated very nicely.

I loved this audio production. The plot was interesting and the actors were amazing. The episodes were not interrupted by commercials and that created an immersive experience. 5 stars all around.

Suspenseful

This was a great story, the reading made it seem like a movie. The acting was outstanding. Hug fan of these guys!!!

What a nail biter and draws you into the story with ease

The music truly helped with the story and the actors truly made you believe how to feel in the book. Good job and thank you for making a short story become alive. In such a way to be a nail biter till the end.
