Book 7 - Coffee Cake and Calamities

Tilly, her uncle, and their friends are escaping for a short getaway on the Coast Excursion train. Romance is in the air with Tilly’s uncle and her new assistant. As the train begins its journey to the vineyard, Tilly soon overhears whispers among the other guests about plans to dispose of a body.

Matters are further complicated as several of the guests over indulge at the wine tasting, returning to the train with even bigger tales of intrigue. When some of them are noticeably absent after the stop at the mystery mansion, Tilly is concerned whether she, her uncle and friends will all make it back to Belle Harbor alive.

Can Tilly find out the truth of the dead body and nab the suspect before the trip is over? Or will the killer escape from the ride, getting away with murder?

Book 8 - Bonbons and Bodies

Tilly and her assistant are in high gear with the grand opening of the new cafe and bakery. Add a new love interest into the mix and she feels like she is now unstoppable on the road to her dreams.

With her pro baseball brother’s team in town, Tilly escapes for a few hours with her new boyfriend to cheer him on. Just as they settle into their seats, the team goes down by six runs. The coach trots out to the pitcher’s mound to make a change and keels over dead.

Tilly’s brother finds himself in the middle of professional sports jealousy, back-stabbing teammates, and twists and turns reminiscent of the best pulled salt water taffy. Can she solve the mysterious death of the baseball coach or will her brother be forced to hang up his glove for good?

Book 9 - Sherbet and Shenanigans

The charity auction to raise money to provide companion dogs for senior citizens is a highlight of Belle Harbor’s event calendar. With a collectible knife donated from her uncle’s antique shop expected to receive top dollar, Tilly hopes they will set new records.

Before the auctioneer’s first call for bids, he is found stabbed to death. The list of suspects is long enough to circle the block. And first in line is Tilly’s uncle. With all clues pointing to her uncle, the Belle Harbor police chief must arrest his best friend for the murder of the auctioneer.

As Tilly races against time to save her uncle, she discovers petty jealousy, long hidden town secrets, and an anonymous donor that cracks the case wide open. Will her uncle go down for the crime and put a wrench in his plans to marry the love of his life? Or can Tilly do his bidding and win the day?
