Stephen M. Vantassel, is a Certified Wildlife Control Professional™ (CWCP) who has been a leader in the field of wildlife control since the 1980s. He founded Wildlife Removal Service, Inc. (Springfield, MA) in 1992 and serviced the wildlife control needs of the Pioneer Valley region till 1997 when he sold the company. Stephen has written scores of articles which have appeared in publications such as Wildlife Control Technology, The Trapper & Predator Caller, Pest Management Professional, University of Nebraska-Lincoln NebGuides, Mass Wildlife, and others. He has authored and co-authored several books, including The Wildlife Damage Inspection Handbook, 3rd ed. and the National Wildlife Control Training Program volumes. Stephen is a founding member of the National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA). He is an accomplished speaker and trainer, achieving the status of Master NWCOA Instructor, Certified NWCOA Instructor, and was awarded NWCOA Educator of the Year.
