Nephi puts us on notice in his very first sentence that The Book of Mormon was written by temple worshippers and for temple worshippers. He and the other prophets of The Book of Mormon, who called themselves the visionary men and the peaceable followers of Christ, knew and practiced a mystery, an ordinance by which they ascended through the temple and entered into the presence of God. This ordinance was embodied in a dramatic representation of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden and their return to it, in which initiates played the roles of Adam and Eve or their descendants.

This is a simple handbook—one that nevertheless has depth. Taking simplification even further, Chapter One, “Overviews of Isaiah’s Prophecy,” summarizes the main points of Isaiah’s message in itself, while the following chapters expand upon them. Of necessity, therefore, some redundancy exists as Isaiah’s prophecies are explained first in part and later more fully.

A promise for the future
I love Dr. Gileadi's scholarship of Isaiah. Jacob in the Book of Mormon privileges the Isaiah prophecy of future spiritual Kings and Queens in the end-time. Dr. Gileadi has brilliantly expounded the significance of this prophecy, how it might unfold, and what it will take for the Gentiles to be part of it.

Well worth the read!
Gileadi minces no words about the importance of and our responsibility to searching , understanding and heeding the words of Isaiah. This book further opened my eyes and heart. It explained some passages but mostly teaches WHY we need to take this subject seriously. Highly recommend !

This is an important undertaking
There's a good deal of work to be done by those who understand the words of Isaiah and this book is a great charge to those who don't yet understand Isaiah in the way it was meant to be understood
