Thanksgiving was a week away. Robert McCormick was in a foul mood, he didn’t want to spend another day watching family and friends enjoy the holidays with their mates, he wanted to get away. He hadn’t found his special One and didn’t think he ever would. Heidi Chow was spending Thanksgiving with friends in Montana. She had spent most of the last six months in hell, from being kidnapped, to working in a sweat shop. She was looking forward to spending time with the only friends she had. When she saw Robert, she knew instantly, he was her mate. Only problem was, Robert hated her from the moment they met. Thanksgiving Day arrived and Robert receives a call from Search and Rescue to report to work. Heidi is afraid for Robert and doesn’t want him to go. If she can’t stop him, she’ll figure out a way to go with him.
