A cute love story

This is a cute love story about an abused woman starting over with a new life. It is predictable but enjoyable.

Beachside Beginnings

I enjoyed listening to this story about a woman who must run away to a little town by the ocean and make a new life for herself. I loved how she liked learning new words and how she was always trying to improve herself. I enjoyed that she would try to help all the women she met with her hair styling and hair care tips. I loved how she was able to finally fight back against her past. I look forward to listening and reading more stories in this series.

Sweet and predictable

Narration is good. Great easy beach read. Wholesome and feel good story. Characters are easy to like.

LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

This was a great story in so many ways although a little predictable. Why is it that ALL authors that write this type of story about bad breakups always find it necessary to bring the bad guy back in at the tail end of the story? That's the extremely predictable part! I enjoy Sheila Roberts books but so many of them are way to short for me to spend my credit. As a rule, I like 10-plus hours for my credit. But this is longer than most of her books so I took a chance and I'm glad I did!

Annoying

I tried to get through this but couldn't. I chose it because I'm a hairstylist and love the beach. I did not like the negativity towards weight, aging and people who aren't in style. So many things rubbed me the wrong way. Oddly written, in my opinion. I had to stop when the characters were dealing with a large spider. I really dont want to read or listen to anything about squishing any creatures. It was disgusting, ridiculously dramatic and unnecessary. I just wanted to relax and enjoy myself.

Don’t waste your ears on this audio or Money! Definitely not worth your time! Unfortunately!
