Paige Walker is getting a promotion.

No more slinging drinks for bad tips, no more swatting old men’s hands away while making small talk for small dollars. From this day forward Paige will be the acting manager of The Carlisle. She just has to politely exit the swanky apartment she spent last night in, and hope the gorgeous man who rents it isn’t insulted by her hasty retreat.

All's well that ends well, until that is, her one night stand walks into the morning staff meeting.

Now instead of promotion plans she has promotion problems.

1. He’s the owner’s nephew
2. He’s holding keys to the manager’s office
3. She slept with the enemy

A lesser woman would lick her wounds and accept her fate, but Paige isn’t known for standing down. By the end of the day she’s earned herself another shot at manager. All she has to do is take down the hunk.

Narration was trash

Cute story but hardly any emotion in the narration. Couldn’t delayed and said same line multiple times through the story.
