Oh My Heart ❤️

Another emotional ride from Miss Layla. Xander and Lili's story is one of mutual saving of two broken souls. And they were so beautifully written that weeping for their troubles AND their triumphs came very easy. Their victory celebration of love was the result of a long fought battle. I am so invested in all of these characters now, that I can't wait for Shark's story.

Zander and Lili are Sweet Perfection

Fantastic! This author can definitely tell a wonderful story full of emotion, laughter, and love. I absolutely adored this book. I was already faking for Zander after listening to Book 1 in the Tell All Secrets series, but I am officially in love after Battle Born For You.
Joe Arden narrates this story to perfection, with his “demons” voice giving the story all the feels I didn’t know it needed. Stella Hunter nails her delivery of Liliana, depicting a huge emotional range of the character flawlessly.

Worth the Emotional Rollercoaster

**Audiobook Review**
Battle Born for You is the sequel to Painting Her Fate and picks up right where the first book left off. I can count on one hand the number of books that have made me cry, and Battle Born for You had me crying during the prologue. Just like Painting Her Fate, this book is an emotional rollercoaster with some unexpected twist and turns. Where Painting Her Fate focused on giving the reader Lili's past, this story focuses on giving us Alexander's past. The way the author addresses the darkness that comes with suffering from PTSD is handled in a beautifully tragic and respectful manner. My heart broke for these characters as the story progressed and then it was slowly put back together. On top of all of those feels, the chemistry between Lili and Alexander is explosive (in the best ways) and the spice next level.

Narrated by Stella Hunter and Joe Arden, two of the best in the biz, you know the narration will be executed flawlessly. Stella and Joe brought the author's emotive words to life and took this story to a new level.

I'm exciting for what this author has up her sleeve for future books.

Powerful ride

Battle Born for You is book 2 in the Tell All Secrets Trilogy. Can love conquer all? Find out in this powerfully written continuation of Lili and Zander’s love story. In Painting Her Fate, Book 1, you will fall in love with Lili as you find out her struggles as she and Zander navigate her past. Now, in Battle Born for You, we hear about Zander’s past and the demons he has to face because of it. Layla takes you on an emotional journey that had me in tears from the start. I love the quotes from famous authors and Layla’s own, at the beginning of the chapters. Can love conquer the demons of their past? Will their live survive? The audiobook is narrated by 2 amazing talents. Joe Arden is perfection, he narrates with so much passion, you will feel Zander’s pain. His “demon” voice gave me chills and may have frightened me a bit. Stella Hunter is a newer narrator to me and is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. She delivers with all the emotions and brings Lili to life.

Poignant and Powerful Love Story!

This is book two of the Tell All Secrets series and the second part of Alexander and Liliana’s endearing and poignant love story. I loved the first book in the series, Painting Her Fate, but I have to say I think this book just might be even better. While the first book more heavily featured Liliana’s back story, this one is more focused on Alexander’s. And after the cliffhanger at the end of Painting Her Fate, expect intensity right outta the gate with this one. This is an incredible story that is as hopeful as it is heartbreaking and showcases the true healing power of love. The audiobook is voiced by the phenomenal talents of Joe Arden and Stella Hunter. There are few narrators who can make you FEEL a story like Joe Arden. He brings Alexander to life with an incredible depth of emotion and passion. His performance literally brought me to tears a couple of times in this book. And Stella Hunter voices Liliana with a fervor and sensitivity that is unmatched. I highly recommend this book. Both the story and the audio performances are immensely moving and enjoyable.
