©2024 Udari Dias (P)2024 Historical AudiobooksI also don’t appreciate that there is a female speaker who does on list all of the work in this video and yet the only voice it gets credit is the male voice, who essentially is just occasional encouragement.
As a professional ESL teacher, I expected this production to at least follow a specific, easy to understand sequence. There was no building up upon words or phrases. It was just a bunch of random, alternating words and phrases. I’m getting a lot more out of the free YouTube/podcast series “Smart but Lazy Sinhala.”
One of the stars for this rating is simply that this audiobook exists at all, when there is almost nothing out there to help one learn Sinhala. But the production could be much better.
