"Barefoot Bubba is a fun read." "Kids will laugh their way through this exciting story." Bubba likes to spend his mornings hunting for frogs in the pond, chasing lizards and climbing trees. One thing Bubba has no use for is shoes. On his way to school Bubba decided to switch his shoes for a special pair of real, life gator feet/shoes his daddy made especially for him. They look like real-live gator feet, complete with toenails. When Bubba meets a kid on the bus, he wants to make a good impression so he tells a little fib, “Them ain’t shoes. They’re my real life feet.” Bubba's lie lands him a lot of trouble as he finds out school is no place for a gator. But when some real gators find out about Bubba he finds himself in real danger. Barefoot Bubba is a fun read for kids of all ages.
