Within hours, most of the world has surrendered.

In space, the Ak’turi gather the bulk of their remaining resources. Having been hunted for untold millennia, they believe that they have finally gained the upper hand and can end their torment. From adjacent dimensions, the Jyrans have long controlled life in the universe. Their power, along with the lives they have nurtured are being threatened with extinction.

On Verdan, Celecia and Dakoran are trapped in the elven country of Argenta. There, they must repel invading armies before they can make their way back home. Cadence Grimm, once exiled to Dragon Island, now finds herself a pawn between two alien races at war. And in Izmir, the only thing that stands between victory and defeat is an artificial intelligence created by a young woman, one who has mysteriously gone missing.
