I have parents who are a little older and balance is becoming sort of a thing. They're not hardcore workouters so this book seem like the next best option. It didn't fail. It really is about 10-20 minutes a day of simple exercises to improve their balance. The author does a great job of explaining the safety aspects and then diving into the actual exercises. Starting with very beginner level and advancing to more intermediate exercises, there's something for everyone in this book. I even learned some exercises which is awesome! Great Balance book for Seniors!

I am in my 50s. I have noticed over the last decade or so that my balance is getting worse in small increments. You almost don't notice it until you step weird off a curb or try to stand on one foot for 10 seconds without teetering. Doing the exercises in this book have already improved my balance noticeably, and it only takes a few minutes a day. Additionally, I have come to look forward to those few minutes, because I can see results and I know that I am getting stronger. I have also shared this book with my neighbor, who is in her 60s. She was reluctant at first, but she has also seen improvement in a short time. (Just a few days)
The audiobook also includes a free PDF that has illustrations of the exercises, which has been a huge help. Supportive narration and emphasis on small steps every day in order to achieve a larger goal make this book a winner.
