And beautiful account of struggles and realizations of an experience of stewardship of a parcel of land. I am doing a similar thing on a much smaller parcel and found Whyman’s reflections and research of how the invasive species came to this country as well as her efforts to manage them informative and entertaining!

beautifully written self discovery within a description of a wonderful property.

Enjoyed the natural history connected to the authors discovery of her property and stories of her growing up, her family, and relationship with the outdoors. Didn't care for her desire to control natural systems.

Good narrator and interesting content if you like nature and I love creation and caring for it.
