What a shame about the reader

The story seems to be up to Hiaasen's usual standard, but it is ruined by the really bad narration. Hiassen has had some great readers, why suddenly this guy? The reading is jerky, sing-song and the emphasis is often wrong.What a pity.

Fun story - worst reader EVER!

This is a light, witty, fun story with great characters but I couldn’t finish the audible version due to the reader. I watched the TV series and loved it. The accents are so atrocious they are offensive (and I have no care if a white guy puts on an accent … but it can’t sound like a 14 year old boy trying an accent he’s not familiar with for the first time) . Don’t buy this.
